If you are coming from London, the best route to us is via the M3 and then the A303. At the A350 head south to Shaftesbury, then take the B3091 to Sturminster Newton.

Be aware that at times, particularly at weekends during the summer, there is likely to be traffic congestion on the A303 near Stonehenge. There are two ways of avoiding this area:

1. Take a detour to the north. After you have passed the A338 turn-off, take the next right (north) onto the A3028 towards Bulford. Go through Bulford and Larkhill and then turn left southwards onto the B3086 and then the A360. Rejoin the A303 at the next roundabout.


2. Take either the A343 or A338 south to Salisbury. Then take the A354 to Blandford, A350 then A357 to Sturminster Newton.

From Sturminster Newton follow the A357 through Lydinch and turn left onto the A3030. After about 3/4 mile, opposite some lodge gates, turn left onto the B3143 towards Dorchester and King's Stag.

In King's Stag you will pass King's Stag garage on your right. Opposite The Green Man turn left towards Hazelbury Bryan.. After 500 yards, go over the bridge and turn left. It's called Ridge Lane on the map, but there is no sign. After 200 yards, the lane becomes a rough track (please take care) and we are at the top of the track on the right.

If you are approaching Ridge Lane from Hazelbury Bryan, follow the road from The Antelope Inn to King's Stag and take the second right. This is also the first right on The Common after King's Stag Mill (Walbridge Motors and RB Snook).

Please note that if you are using SatNav, entering the postcode DT10 2AU will take you to a spot near Walbridge Motors, about half a mile from our true location. If possible add 'Ridge Lane' into the SatNav and that should direct you to us more accurately.
